On Wednesday, during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, actor Anupam Kher took a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam.
Actor Anupam posted a video of his holy swim to Instagram, where he chanted mantras and prayed to the god during this spiritual time.

The “Emergency” star described it as an “emotional” time in his life and added that it has since turned into a “successful” one.

He wrote, “Life became successful by taking a dip at Ganga in Mahakumbh!! For the first time, chanted mantras by reaching the place where Maa Ganga, Jamuna ji, and Saraswati ji meet! While praying, tears came out of my eyes. Look at the coincidence! The same happened one year ago today on the day of Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya! Hail Sanatan Dharma!” alongside the video.

Anupam visited Prayagraj to attend the Maha Kumbh mela on Tuesday. After entering the airport, Kher briefly spoke with ANI and stated his pleasure about participating in a spiritual meeting.

He declared, “I am here to take part in this spiritual event. Seeing people from all backgrounds here makes me feel so good. I also commend the Uttar Pradesh administration and chief minister Yogi Adityanath for safely and responsibly hosting this momentous occasion.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, participated in the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj today by taking a sacred dip in Triveni Sangam.

Along with the Chief Minister, other cabinet ministers were in attendance, including Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya. As he and his ministers participated in this spiritual moment, the UP CM was observed giving thanks to God.

According to Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, there are no words to express the “joy” of taking the sacred dip in Sangam.

“There are no adequate words to express the joy. Today, the Council of Ministers of the Cabinet convened a combined meeting in Mahakumbh Prayagraj. In addition, difficult choices have been made, and the Mahakumbh of 2025 has begun to get ready for the Ardhakumbh of 2031. Spiritual happiness, as I mentioned earlier, is indescribable. “That’s what Maurya said.”
