Following Chairman Lamichhane’s arrest by the police on Friday, party officials and members protested in Pokhara on Saturday.

“Stop political vendettas, prosecute the corrupt, give justice to the cooperative victims,” the demonstrators’ posters read.
According to RSP Gandaki chairman Rajan Gautam, Pokhara was the starting point for the toppling of two-thirds of the government.
