Joe Biden declared on defeat, “What America witnessed today was the Kamala Harris I know and greatly respect.”
Regarding Kamala Harris’ 2024 election defeat, Joe Biden finally spoke up. Biden stated in a post on X just hours after Donald Trump’s win, “Today, America saw the Kamala Harris that I know and deeply admire.
“Her story is the greatest American story.”
Biden wrote that under extraordinary circumstances, she stepped up and led a historic campaign, demonstrating what is possible when a strong moral compass and a clear vision guide the pursuit of a nation that is freer, more just, and filled with greater opportunities for all Americans. He described Harris as a tremendous partner and public servant, embodying integrity, courage, and character. As I have stated previously, when I was announced as the 2020 presidential nominee, my initial choice was Kamala. It was the wisest move I ever took. Her story is the epitome of America’s history. She made it obvious today, and I am confident she will keep writing that story.
“She will fight on with pleasure, purpose, and determination and she will remain an advocate for all Americans. He continued, ‘Above all, as she leaves her mark on America’s future, she will serve as a role model for our children for many decades to come.’
What America saw today was the Kamala Harris I know and deeply admire.
