In recent months, Salman Khan, another actor, has received several death threat similar to the one made against Shah Rukh Khan.
After receiving a threatening call on a police landline, someone indicated an intention to kill Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. The Bandra Police in Mumbai have filed a case against an unidentified individual. Together with the Cyber Police Station, the police have started an investigation.
The Police personnel have recorded the complaint using Sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.In the past few months, Salman Khan has received several threats from an unknown source. Now, Shah Rukh Khan is the latest target of such threats. To find the caller and protect the actors, authorities are working.
The Bandra police station received a call threatening Shah Rukh Khan and demanding ₹50 lakh. Police have reported a crime.There haven’t been any arrests yet,” a top police official told PTI.
The Mumbai Police team traced the call back to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, according to reports. The probe is still ongoing, and teams have now departed for Chhattisgarh.
Earlier on November 5, the Mumbai Police received a threat mail directed at Salman Khan.

In the past week, Salman Khan has received two threats of death. In the previous death threat received by the Mumbai Police Traffic Control, the sender demanded that the actor pay ₹2 crore in ransom.
A man from Jamshedpur threatened Salman Khan on behalf of mobster Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded a ₹5 crore ransom. On October 24, the Mumbai Police later detained him.
After receiving a threatening SMS, Mumbai Traffic Police reportedly opened an inquiry and filed a case against an unidentified individual.
