Without the organizers’ consent, Ms. Mora reportedly joined her boyfriend, Juan Abadia, in his hotel room in Mexico.

She denies the accusations. She disputed the organization of the event with Cesar Anel Rodriguez, the Miss Universe Panama director. As a result, the organizers removed her from the event. Her boyfriend was present. After Mr. Abadia disclosed that he covered her expenses, including a $7,000 Carolina Herrera dress, the organization faced accusations of negligence. The argument became more heated after this revelation.
“Cesar said he didn’t have the money to cover the hotel or makeup costs,” said Mora.

The 19-year-old beauty queen was scheduled to participate in the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City on November 16. There, she was to compete against over 130 international delegates. The Miss Panama Organisation stated they made arrangements for her to return to Panama after she was disqualified.
