The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), which had gained 61.61 points, ended the day at 2,485.94 points. (NEPSE increases.)
The market began at 2,424.32 points and dropped to 2,409.63 points, the day’s low, in the first twelve minutes. Nevertheless, the index started to rise with 25 minutes left in trade, hitting the day’s high at 2,494.06 points. The market corrected by roughly nine points in the remaining time before it closed for the day.
The sensitivity index measures the performance of ‘A’ class enterprises, which experienced a notable gain of 13.53 points. The daily turnover dropped from Rs 15.54 billion on Thursday to Rs 15.23 billion on Friday.
Every one of the 13 groups’ market values rose. The hotel and tourism sectors achieved the highest increase, rising by 259.05 points. Trading, manufacturing, and processing, as well as life insurance, also experienced three-digit gains.
Out of the individual companies, the evaluation declared 181 as winners and 56 as losers.
With a revenue of Rs 341.09 million, Soaltee Hotel Limited was the firm with the largest share turnover. United Modi Hydropower Ltd saw the highest gain in market price, while Sikles Hydropower Limited suffered the largest percentage loss.
